The Dutch Consortium for Rehabilitation is a collaborative venture of four social organizations: CARE, Healthnet TPO, Save the Children and ZOA.
Our organizations are complementary. Together we cover the areas that are essential for the rehabilitation of a community: healthcare, education, water and sanitation facilities, developing economic activities and strengthening civil society. This makes the combination of our four organizations such a powerful one.
Funding of the DCR
We have submitted a joint request for the central government’s new Co-Financing System (MFS II). This runs from 1 January 2011 up to and including 31 December 2015 and is intended for Dutch social organizations which dedicate themselves to sustainable poverty alleviation.
Our consortium requested an amount of €96m for five years. In November 2010, our request was honoured with an amount of €63.4m.
